📘 1. What is calendar synchronization?
1.1 Definition
Calendar synchronization allows Upmeet to connect to your Google or Microsoft calendars to:
display your events,
allow Upmeet to automatically join your video meetings,
prepare the meeting minutes,
centralize your work activities in one place.
1.2 What is it used for?
Never forget to manually add a meeting in Upmeet
Automate meeting recording
Quickly access the video link
Get an overview of your upcoming events and meetings
➕ 2. Add a calendar
2.1 How to open the add menu?
In the Calendar section, click on Add a calendar at the top right.
A window opens to guide you.

2.2 Choose the type of calendar
Upmeet offers you two options:
Add a Google calendar
Add a Microsoft calendar

2.3 Account connection
Depending on your choice:
✔️ For Google Calendar
If you are already logged in with Google, Upmeet will directly propose your account.
Otherwise, you will be prompted to log in and then allow access.
✔️ For Microsoft Calendar
A window will ask for your Microsoft credentials.
Once connected, the calendar synchronizes immediately.
📆 3. Once your calendar is synchronized
After synchronization, you will see:
3.1 Your calendar events
All events from your calendar appear directly in the Calendar section of Upmeet:
personal events,
work meetings,
video meetings,
recurring events.
3.2 Your synchronized accounts
At the top or in the sidebar view, Upmeet displays all calendars associated with your account (Google, Microsoft, or multiple instances).
You can enable or disable each calendar individually to filter the display.
3.3 Upcoming meetings
Meetings scheduled for the day or the following days are displayed automatically.
When an event includes a video link (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams…), Upmeet is able to access it.
3.4 Click on an event
By clicking on an event, you will see:
the meeting details,
the link to the video,
the participants,
the management options (depending on your auto-join / auto-share settings).
🔗 4. Access the meeting link from the calendar
Each synchronized event displays the link to the video meeting if it is present in the invitation.
Examples:
Google Meet link
Zoom link
Microsoft Teams link
