This page guides you step by step in creating a meeting in Upmeet.

You will learn:

  • the different recording methods,

๐Ÿ” 1. What is meeting creation?

Creating a meeting in Upmeet allows you to automatically obtain:

  • a complete transcription,

  • a structured summary,

  • smart analysis via AI.

You can record a live meeting or import an existing recording.

All created meetings will then appear in your Meetings space, where you can organize, modify, and share them.

โ–ถ๏ธ 2. Start creating a meeting

To create a meeting:

  1. Click on the Create button (at the top right of the interface).


  1. (Optional) Select a prompt to adapt the style of the summary.

  2. (Optional) Give a name to the meeting.

  3. Choose the type of meeting from:

    • Microphone

    • File import

    • Video call (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc.)

    • YouTube

Once the type is selected, Upmeet will automatically guide you to the corresponding steps.

๐ŸŽค 3. Record a meeting with the microphone

๐Ÿ“Œ What is it for?

This option allows you to record a live meeting from your computer or phone.

Upmeet will automatically transform the recording into a transcription and summary.

๐Ÿงญ Steps to follow

  1. Select Microphone.

  2. Select the microphone from those detected on your device.

  3. Test your microphone if necessary.

  4. Click on Create to start the recording.


๐Ÿ“ 4. Import an audio or video file

๐Ÿ“Œ What is it for?

You can import an existing file (e.g., MP3, MP4) to immediately obtain a transcription and summary.

๐Ÿงญ How to do it?

  1. Click on Import.

  2. Drag and drop your file or click to select one.

  3. Common formats (MP3, MP4, etc.) are accepted.


Once the file is uploaded, Upmeet will automatically prepare its transcription.

๐ŸŽฆ 5. Add a video call meeting

๐Ÿ“Œ What is it for?

Upmeet can record and analyze meetings held on other platforms.

Compatible platforms

  • Google Meet

  • Zoom

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Other services via an access link

๐Ÿงญ How to do it?

  1. Select Video call.

  2. Paste the link to your meeting.

  3. Click on Create.


Upmeet will automatically join the meeting at the scheduled time.

Transform the content of a YouTube video into:

  • complete transcription,

  1. Select YouTube.

  2. Paste the URL of the video.

  3. Click on Create.
